The president Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife on visit to Rungis meet M. Jawad Hajjar

RUNGIS (AFP) - The president of the Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, accompanied with his wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, went on Tuesday morning to Rungis ( Val-de-Marne) to meet the professionals of the Market of National Interest (MIN).

The president and his wife began by visiting the stands of meats, before going to the stands of cheeses and ending the visit by the stands of flowers. They came to answer the invitation of the wholesalers in flower who had offered to him the traditional lily of the valley of May 1st.  [...]
